A low-budget project for an exhibition in Belfast. Opens with haunting underwater footage all in darkness. A lone narrator delivers a somber eulogy to a group of fish which survives thanks to the shelter the coral offers during their young years. Using vibrant colors and surrealism fading throughout the video to highlight the consequences of excessive fishing and environmental destruction. The projection shows a devastated landscape as the narrator speaks of lost beauty, fragile ecosystems, and the irreversible consequences of human greed. Simple yet powerful visuals convey the sorrow of an ocean silenced, a lifeform being pushed to extinction, and a call for awareness before it's too late.
